First made in 1988, this is the original heavyweight t-shirt, our signature piece.
Defined by a 1.25" cotton rib collar, full cut sleeves, and a relaxed fit. We knit with a tubular body for no uncomfortable side seams in our 8+ ounce 100% cotton jersey. The weight of the fabric is unlike anything else and evident as soon as you take it out of the package. Not just a shirt with superior comfort, but also with incredible durability, allowing the piece to wear in over time without falling apart. "I always look forward to wearing the couple pairs I own, the heavyweight material feels substantial and they age wonderfully. Sizing can sometimes be a bit tricky if you are between sizes as there is some variation between colors sometimes, but returns are seamless (like the sides of these shirts). Great item! Look forward to seeing new colors."
"Fire! Large fits tight, but I'm used to it, and the high-quality, very durable cotton with its no side-seam uniform construction becomes comfortably form-fitting. Also encourages me to lose the middle-aged gut. These shirts, like the rest of the gear I have purchased, are so rugged and heavy-duty in their construction (yet all-cotton comfy and breathable), the othe tee-shirts I've purchased -- including some high-quality, all-cotton tees -- feel like I'm wearing toilet paper. Masculine tees I'll keep for life. They will not only hold up over time, but they hold up over each individual wear -- even rough, sweaty wear -- without getting stinky or overly damp and distressed. "You have good t-shirts when new, but if I wear the same shirt once a week, it is pretty worn out in a year. I usually wear Carhartt shirts at $20 each they last about a year, but they are much cheaper to replace. Also, the website for Dungarees, where I buy them, is not as confusing as your site. Your shirts a good, but they are in the upper price range which I cannot afford. Mike Caldwell"
