To produce our iconic styles, we start with the yarn and knit our own fabrics to create a truly special product. Below are some of our proprietary fabrics that give our clothes their signature feel, durability, and comfort.
heavyweight 7.2 osy | summerweight 5.5 osy
100% US Cotton Jersey
Jersey is a simple knit of cotton yarn, common in clothing, bedsheets, cloth, etc. Our signature heavyweight jersey is made with extra thick 12 singles yarn. The resulting fabric is 7.2 ounces per square yard (osy) before wash and dry. The final product measures a bit above 8.0 osy - an unheard weight in today's imported and fast-fashion brands.
Midweight 10.0 osy
100% US Cotton French Terry
French Terry is characterized by it's looped inside yarn and a flat outside weave. All the thousands of loops create insulating air pockets while maintaining breathability. Lighter than fleece but more robust than a shirt.
100% Cotton Fleece 12.0 osy
Heavyweight 100% Cotton Fleece
Our new fleece is made with 100% US grown cotton. Expensive to make, labor-intensive, and hard to source - we knit our own. Nearly all of the fleece available today is imported and blended with 20-50% polyester - making ours a rare breed.
55% Raw Hemp | 45% organic cotton
Raw Hemp Blend
Sustainable fabrics are our passion, but unfortunately, true hemp textile production is still inaccessible in the USA. This is our only imported fabric, which we use to gain a better understanding of using hemp fabrics. We are (im)patiently waiting for the day we no longer have to import hemp.
Hemp/bamboo & organic Cotton
Viscose and Cotton Blend
Viscose is a chemically extracted fiber from a natural source. Using enzymes, the cellulose in sugarcane, pine, or in our case bamboo and hemp, is turned into a soft and spinnable fiber. We only source sustainable viscose yarn from closed-loop systems, and blend with organic cotton. The final product has incredible drape, softness, and moisture-wicking breathability.
100% Cotton 9.0 osy
Raschel Knit Thermal
We knit our thermal with a unique pattern. The diamond shapes allow for improved stretch across the width while minimizing the fabric losing shape over time. Insulating yet breathable.
